Cornell Cooperative Extension builds partnerships and coalitions with individuals, communities, organizations, and government agencies around issues of mutual concern.
Youth can volunteer to do things from teaching others to prune trees to mentoring individuals as they learn new skills. Youth can apply to serve as a Board Member on committees that organize the work of the organization. Volunteers needed to work at the Saratoga County Fair in July. Teens are asked to work in the children’s “garden” helping children to plant vegetables, pick fruit, and play with stuffed animals and other activities. In addition, volunteers are needed for year round events sponsored by Cooperative Extension and 4H, such as sleigh rides in the winter.
