Habitat For Humanity Of Northern Saratoga, Warren And Washinton Counties

Habitat for Humanity brings families and communities in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent affordable housing. Individuals between ages of 14 and 16 can do limited work on the sites. They can paint or landscape but should not be on site when construction is going on.
Volunteers between the ages of 16 and 18 can do general construction but cannot do excavation, demolition, use power tools or work at heights above 6 feet or do roofing. They can do general carpentry. Anyone over the age of 18 can do any of the various construction-related jobs on the site. All volunteers must sign Release and Waiver of Liability forms, a separate form for minors. Children under 14 are not allowed on the work site.
All people are welcome to join in the building of simple, decent, affordable houses with those in need of adequate shelter. There is a place for many talents whether you swing a hammer, work on a committee or simply spread the word about our work. There are administrative, family partnership, family selection, construction, fund raising, public relations, food coordination, site development, church relations, entertainment and volunteer coordination tasks to do.
