Special Olympics New York: Saratoga

Volunteers assist children or teens at Special Olympic events, encouraging them and praising them and acting as a peer role model. Training Clubs in Nordic Skiing, Aquatics, Bowling, Equestrian, Track and Field, Softball, Basketball, Volleyball, Golf, and Alpine Skiing are offered.

The Prevention Council: SADD Chapter Involvement/Above the Influence, Stop DWI

Students who are involved with their district high school and middle school SADD and/ or ATI chapters periodically work with Prevention Council educators who support SADD and or ATI Chapter efforts, including planning and participating in the annual SADD Safe Spring Conference held each spring at Skidmore College. High School students receive intensive training about restorative justice and the various roles of the court system.
