Saratoga County Children’s Committee
The Children’s Committee is a non-profit organization that helps meet emergency and basic needs of underprivileged kids in Saratoga County. The largest undertaking is the Empty Stocking Project. This project provides holiday gifts and necessities to about 1,000 children each year. Volunteers can help by sponsoring a child and by granting their holiday wishes.

Saratoga National Historical Park/Saratoga Battlefield
Volunteer opportunities for 16-18 year olds, throughout visitor season, late spring to early fall. Prefer ongoing commitment of volunteers, at least 4 hours per week. Responsibilities include: Greeting at visitor center, historical/costume interpretation, living history, tour guide at historical home or building (Schuyler House), telling story of Revolutionary War- Battle of Saratoga, and demonstrating crafts/skills of the times.
